Description

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Quality Team Lead to lead and support our Quality team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position helps ensure quality standards are met, supports production, and provides training and guidance to QA Inspectors and production leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and support QA Inspectors on quality judgment, inspection methods, and defect identification.
  • Monitor QA Inspector activities and assign tasks based on priority.
  • Support inspectors in meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate quality records.
  • Manage and disposition Yellow and Red bin parts according to procedures.
  • Perform and oversee rework after proper training.
  • Update quality status, including Hold and Scrap, in PLEX.
  • Perform in-process inspections and document results in PLEX or required records.
  • Identify and report quality abnormalities, trends, new defects, damaged gauges, and excessive rejects.
  • Provide quality training and guidance to Supervisors, Team Leaders, and production personnel.
  • Support the Quality Supervisor and perform QA Inspector duties when needed.
  • Maintain 4S standards and support Kaizen improvements within the production area.
  • Complete required quality evaluation testing and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; able to prepare data analysis and presentations.
  • Reliable with excellent attendance and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to remain professional and effective in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Manufacturing or Quality Control experience preferred.
