Quality Control Inspector 2nd Shift

Description

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support our manufacturing operations 2nd Shift . This position is responsible for ensuring parts meet quality standards, performing inspections and measurements, documenting results, and responding quickly to quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality inspections, measurements, and first-piece checks.
  • Collect and measure samples according to inspection requirements.
  • Complete check sheets and enter quality data into Plex.
  • Identify defects and properly disposition defective or questionable parts.
  • Monitor production processes, labels, welding, paste weights, finished goods, and other quality checkpoints.
  • Respond to quality calls and communicate issues with Production, Quality, Engineering, and the Lab.
  • Support containment activities, sorts, Safe Launch, and Quality Alerts.
  • Follow the Stop, Call, Wait process when excessive rejects occur.
  • Maintain all safety, quality, uniform, and 4S requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing or quality experience preferred.
  • Ability to use measurement gauges and inspection equipment.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer skills; ability to learn Plex, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Reliable with strong attendance and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
