Entry Level Forklift Service Technician

Accelerated Equipment Service is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Forklift Service Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with automotive, equipment, industrial maintenance, or general mechanical experience who wants to build a career in forklift repair.

The technician will assist with diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electric, propane, gas, and diesel-powered forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Training will be provided, but applicants should have basic mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities (with assistance and training)

• Assist with preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
• Perform basic engine tune-ups and repairs
• Service brakes, steering systems, transmissions, and drivetrains
• Repair hydraulic hoses, cylinders, pumps, and valves
• Test batteries, starters, alternators, wiring, and charging systems
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify electronic faults
• Assist with mast, lift-chain, tire, and attachment repairs
• Complete service reports and document repairs performed
• Maintain an organized and safe work area
• Travel to customer locations throughout the Greater Cincinnati area
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
