Summary
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting barfeed systems according to engineering drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOP). This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with electrical components, wiring, and mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products according to blueprints, schematics, and standard operating procedures.
Perform electrical wiring, cable routing, crimping, soldering, and connector installation as required.
Install mechanical components including brackets, fasteners, motors, actuators, sensors, and control devices.
Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of assembled units to ensure product quality and performance.
Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, workmanship, and compliance with quality standards.
Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment safely and effectively.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and assembly instructions.
Identify and report material shortages, defects, or process issues to the production manager or engineering personnel.
Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Operate forklift as needed.
Use hand tools such as pipe wrench, impact drill, etc.
Other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills/Requirements: Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
