SKILLED PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We are currently looking for experienced, dependable, and hard-working maintenance technicians, who do quality work to service multi-unit residential apartment communities and commercial properties in Greater Cincinnati.

As part of the Balanced Property Solutions maintenance team, you would be an integral part of preserving comfortable, safe, and clean living and workspaces by completing necessary repairs, turns, and preventative maintenance tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Inspects and identifies equipment or property areas in need of repair.

· Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs and communicate these issues directly to the property manager.

· Performs general repairs that may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.

· Performs routine maintenance on building systems.

· Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities which may include outdoor or indoor work.

· Purchase supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.

· Knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and repair.

· Willingness to also complete janitorial, landscaping, and lot sweeping duties which may include working in various (but not extreme) weather conditions.

· Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· The ability and willingness to learn new phone applications, send/receive emails, send/receive text messages, and take photographs with a cell phone.

· Active Drivers License and a reliable vehicle.

Education and Experience:

· 1 year related experience preferred.

· No certifications necessary, but preferred.

· HVAC experience and/or certification a plus.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods standing and walking.

· Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
