Description

Job Title – Field Service Technician - Trainee – must be 21 years or older.

We are searching for a Cincinnati-based Field Service Technicia­n to primarily service coffee related equipment at customer locations in Ohio, Indiana and Northern Kentucky, with the future potential to travel to multiple states in the US.

 

Location: Rooted Grounds Coffee Company Warehouse (not remote)

Job Type: Full-Time, 35-40 hours (Part-Time to FT Option)

Department: Service

Reports To: National Account Service Manager

Responsibilities

·       Install, repair and preventative maintenance of a wide variety of commercial coffee equipment.

·       Ability to travel overnight for multi-day projects.

·       On-site customer training on machine operations, troubleshooting, and brand overview.

·       Installation of marketing signage, coffee vessels, and coffee products delivery.

·       Daily documentation of each job for inventory and invoicing.

·       Maintain accurate parts inventory to support equipment service needs.

·       Work in-house on equipment repair and refurbishing when not in the field.

·       As needed help in a variety of areas including operations, production and warehouse.

·       Maintain a clean driving record.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

       Computer aptitude for data entry

       Attention to detail

       Team player

       Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

       Desire to learn new skills and grow with the company.

       Ability to lift 50 pounds

·       Completion of a background check and drug testing (including any form of THC)

       Drug and smoke free environment

 

Training

·       In-depth training with the National Service Manager and lead Service Technicians for the first 6 months to ensure mastery of technical skills.

·       In-house bench training on a wide spectrum of machines.

·       Field training on installation, troubleshooting, and customer service.

·       Company vehicle and tools provided for field service calls.

·       Reports directly to the National Service Manager.

·       Training on Field Management Service software for executing service calls at customer sites.

 

Compensation & Benefits

·       Full time hourly position with 40 hours per week at $20+ / hour (depending on experience), with possible overtime opportunities.

·       7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday - Friday

·       40 hours / week

·       Paid vacation is two weeks per year.

·       Six national holidays paid time off, plus two additional float holidays.

·       Unpaid time off with approval.

·       Eligible for benefits if working 30 hours/week or more.

·       Health care benefits via a company sponsored Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA).
