Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will assist experienced technicians in performing routine repairs, inspections, and maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment while also performing jobs independently to your skill level. Your proactive approach and eagerness to learn will contribute significantly to keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently. Duties

  • Assist senior mechanics with troubleshooting mechanical issues using tools such as the ohmmeter, ensuring accurate diagnostics.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
  • Support in performing preventive maintenance tasks to prolong equipment lifespan and optimize performance.
  • Learn to disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble mechanical components under supervision.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for accountability and future reference.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.

Experience

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools, with a willingness to learn more advanced techniques.
  • Prior experience in a maintenance or mechanical environment is a plus but not mandatory; we value motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining attention to detail.
