The City of Wyoming is currently accepting applications for Seasonal Maintenance Worker positions within the Public Works Department. This role involves performing a wide range of labor tasks to support the maintenance and operations of city infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a dependable team player who communicates effectively, follows instructions well, and contributes positively to a collaborative work environment. The Seasonal Maintenance Worker primarily performs outdoor work. Regular working hours are Monday-Friday, 7: 00 am-4:00 pm, with a summer schedule of 6:00 am-2:30 pm, operating Memorial Day through Labor Day. Varied schedules may be accommodated upon request. Examples of work include but are not limited to:
· Mowing/trimming
· Street maintenance
· Athletic field maintenance
· Landscaping/Watering flowers
· Trash collection from City facilities and grounds
· Leaf collection
· Clearing snow and ice from walkways and access points to City facilities
· Other similar work as assigned
· Successful candidates must be able to operate various landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Valid State driver’s license maintained throughout course of employment with the city.
· Punctual and regular attendance required.
· Possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
· Must have the ability and willingness to learn to safely operate all City vehicles, equipment, and tools.
· An oral interview, drug test, and background investigation must be passed by successful candidate.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
· Hourly Pay Rate $15.00-$20.00 depending on skills and experience.
