Warehouse Box Truck Driver

Job Summary:

•   The hourly PPW truck driver Receive orders from dispatcher
•   Pickup/transfer/deliver with accuracy per instructions
•  Communicate with dock personnel to ensure accuracy
•  Communicate time of pickup and OFS reporting back to dispatcher
• Ensure safe operation of company vehicleat all times
•   Ensure safe operation of equipment on the docks
•  Work efficiently with the dispatcher to complete the most orders in least number of trips.
• Complete daily truck inspection
•            Keep daily truckers log of OFS

Report To: Operations Manager

 Job Responsibilities 

Safety

• Ensure all Client safety expectations are met.
• Maintain a safe work environment free of recordable incidents for all employees and customers.
• Wear all required personnel protective equipment as required.
• Safety toed shoes or boots are required to be used at all times when handling packages.
• High Visibility clothing while on the warehouse floor space.

Workflow & Quality Assurance

• Follow all processes established in the operating procedures.
• Has working knowledge of Dock Security procedures and Emergency Preparedness Operations.

Customer Service

• Follow established customer inquiry process and respond to customer needs and requests.
• Promptly inform supervisor of potential problems or customer issues.
• Attend and or organize meetings with the client and associates.
• Build strong positive relationships with all dock associates and client customers.
