Position Overview:
We’re looking for an independent and versatile Welder/Fabricator who is passionate about precision and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will be proficient in TIG and MIG welding, capable of working with sanitary stainless-steel tubing, and able to pass the 6G welding certification. This role requires a hands-on professional who can interpret technical drawings, problem-solve, and contribute to our mission of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble fluid handling systems and components according to specifications and design drawings.
- Perform TIG welding on sanitary stainless steel tubing with precision and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for sanitary welding, including maintaining clean and smooth welds free of contamination.
- Pass and maintain a 6G welding certification to ensure the highest quality of work.
- Use a variety of tools, including grinders, cutters, and other fabrication equipment, to complete projects accurately and efficiently.
- Work independently to troubleshoot, adapt designs, and make adjustments as needed to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to review blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Perform quality checks on fabricated components to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ASME or similar welding standards.
- Experience working in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or other industries requiring sanitary systems.
