We need an experienced, talented CNC Machinist to Setup Swiss Style CNC Lathes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set up & Program Swiss and other CNC lathes.
- Ganesh, Citizen, Okuma
- Checks and records quality.
- Monitors displays on running machine to detect malfunctions.
- Read and interpret Blueprints and related technical data to determine requirements, set up procedures, control settings and machining method sequences.
- Mounts, aligns, and secures tooling, & work piece material on machines.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety and manufacturing procedures.
- Perform general maintenance on machine such as changing/adding oils & other lubes.
- Minor repairs as needed.
- Documentation of job and quality checks.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to Program in G & M code.
- Must be able to Set-up & Layout numerous jobs.
- General mechanical aptitude such as diagnosing & troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to read blueprints and use various measuring tools. Detail oriented. Good Vision. Ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, push, and pull. Lifting and carrying of up to 40 lbs. throughout the shift.
